3 Tips for Creating the Perfect Morning Routine

There are so many reasons why you’ll want to make sure that you create a great morning routine. The way you start your morning really does set the tone for the rest of your day. 1. Create a no-phone rule.

When many people wake up, they reach for their phone. This is a terrible habit to practice. If you reach for your phone, chances are you’ll start to scroll on social media. Before you know it, an hour has passed. You’re now behind on your schedule, running late and have started the day on the wrong foot. Instead, wake up and immediately get out of bed. If you like to read a book, make sure it’s one that you can physically pick up or put down. You don’t want to start your day being hooked to the electronic devices.

2. It’s wise to get the blood pumping when you wake up in the morning.

When you start the day with a really great workout, you’ve checked one major task off of your to-do list. Plus, you’re now energized to keep going throughout the rest of your day. Whether you choose to go to the gym to lift weights or take a jog around the neighborhood, do your best to squeeze that workout in before you start the day. If you take a look at most successful CEOs and prominent figures in the world, many of them start their day by exercising.

3. Eat well.

According to many nutritionists, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is why it’s a good idea to make sure your body is fueled within an hour of waking up. It’s great to start your day by drinking water. Make sure your breakfast has protein to help you feel fueled to tackle the day. Don’t forget to take any vitamins or allergy support supplements with your meal. If you want to eat before you workout, consider grabbing a protein bar or some almonds to give you some energy before your workout.
